Watering the Tulips
35mm FILM|Opinions|Article

Soofa Studio, Shanghai

"Watering the Tulips" is a work rooted in everyday life, emphasizing the interaction between people and space. Lefebvre's theory of space production suggests that space is constantly produced and reproduced through everyday practices. In this work, my home, as a private space, becomes a place where I care for myself and connect with nature. The act of watering the tulips, though simple, is not just a part of daily life but also a way to transform and give new meaning to the space. Through this action, my home space becomes not just a physical existence but a space full of personal significance and emotion, representing my longing for a simpler life.
